Transpara improves breast cancer detection

Transpara uses AI to highlight suspicious areas in mammograms and helps radiologists prioritize scans for closer review. ScreenPoint Medical reported in April 2026 that the system was deployed in more than 30 countries and had processed over 12 million mammograms. In Sweden's MASAI screening trial, using Transpara increased cancer detection by 29% compared with standard reading by two radiologists, while reducing screen reading workloads by 44%.
